Dean Hammond has been offered a deal until the end of next season, after proving himself to be a valuable squad member over the last few months.
Mark McGhee, talking on the Official site said "I think they've proven that they can do a job. I'm trying to put together a squad of young players who in 18 months time will be a good team. I think we see these as players who can be part of that.
"Now it's really a case of the boys giving me an answer. I've asked them if they can give me an answer before the end of the week so that we can put it to bed before the break and so that they are settled."
