Brighton have received a significant boost ahead of their upcoming Premier League fixtures after the FA overturned Pascal Struijk's red card from the 2-0 victory over Sunderland.
The defender had been dismissed in the 57th minute for denying Wilson Isidor an apparent clear goalscoring opportunity.
An independent Regulatory Commission accepted Brighton's claim of wrongful dismissal, removing the one-match suspension that would otherwise have ruled Struijk out of the upcoming game with Crystal Palace.
