Brighton & Hove Albion have been hit with a major injury blow today after manager Fabian Hürzeler confirmed that striker Stefanos Tzimas will miss the rest of the 2025/26 season.
The Greece youth international suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury during the 4-3 defeat to Aston Villa last week.
Hürzeler stated that Tzimas will undergo surgery soon but expressed confidence that the medical department will ensure he returns in "even better shape" for the next pre-season.
The injury is a significant setback for the young striker, who was impressing after earning his first Premier League starts.
