Here's what Rob had to say!
Bobby Zamora came on against Portugal on Tuesday as you know. A few joking "boo's" but mostly applause, I applauded. He came on and didn't really do much - a few touches and the odd layoff, and one excellent cross, but Bobby wasn't really given the opportunity to show what he could do.. and I did want to see what he could do so I was a bit disapointed!

When asked by the local paper who is your div2 player of the season - I replied Bobby Zamora.. they were expecting me to be biassed towards Stoke City! Why?
Because he has guided Brighton to promotion. Brighton don't like admitting they're a one man team and fair enough the 4-0 (I'm sure he means the 4-1 at Colchester!) result without Zamora shows that you aren't totally but would you have got promotion without him?
Well done for keeping him and resisting the temptation to sell for financial gain. I believe that the sale of Peter Thorne was one of the main factors why we haven't gone up this year, we need an out and out goalscorer and that we haven't had.
