Colin Kazim-Richards scored his first goal for the albion to open the scoring in the 39th minute in front of 1500 suporters at Woodside Road

Albion boss Mark McGhee fielded a different eleven for the second half, and after 53 minutes the Albion were 3-0 up.

Despite the final scoreline, McGhee was generally pleased with his side's performance. He told seagulls.co.uk, "I thought it was excellent.

"You have got to remember the combination of things that are happening at the moment. The boys are working very hard at the training ground; we're trying to get through pre-season without anyone geting hurt; pre-season games have a nature of their own; we're trying to pass the ball. It was a perfect pre-season game for where we're at."

Albion's pre-season campaign continues on Friday evening at St Albans, kick-off 7.45pm.
