Walker extends Brighton contract

Goalkeeper Mitch Walker has signed a one-year extension to his Brighton contract, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2011/12 season.The 18-year-old turned professional last August and made his first-team debut in the 1-0 win over Yeovil on the final day of this season.

He told the club website: "To be on the bench for a few games and then make my debut in the last match was great.

"And it's brilliant to sign for a further year."
