Things can only get better

McGhee said of yesterday:

"There were many positives in our performance. We had a gameplan to frustrate Wigan and it was working until we gave the goal away on half-time.
"Wigan are the best team I've seen all season and they have a good chance of doing well this season so to come here and perform like that must give us confidence."

We may have lost 3 games, but the teams we have lost to are the top three of the Championship table.

We drew at home to Coventry (15th), our next 2 games over the bank holiday weekend may be better indicators of our current form and well-being for the season.

Midweek we have a home game against Bristol Rovers, I would hope that we play a strong team in this game to try to gel the partnership of Knight & Molango before those two important fixtures over the Bank Holiday weekend.

On Saturday we are at home to 17th placed Preston, while on Monday we play the Sky match at 19th placed Leicester. With no league games, because of International fixtures, until September 11th it is vital that we pick up something from the weekend.

I believe we can pick up 4 points taking us away from the bottom 3 before we pick up again with a game at Watford, followed by Wolves & QPR at home, before finshing September away at Gillingham & Forest.

Things will get better.
