A few fans comments on the Prosser.

He was interviewed on SCR by Ian Hart. Said he is not from Yorkshire but
lives there - has done for two weeks. Harty asked him if he was pleased with his performance today - reply = yes.

Said first goal was a foul on Carl Asaba by the Keeper but it was not a red
card as another defender was there so not a clear goal scoring chance. Said
second penalty was a push by the Centre Half on Wayne Allison.

Note that Sheffield United players are referred to by their names whereas our players are called by their positions!!!! and he must know Michel's name cos he
wrote it in his book.

Apparently Ivor Caplin had been on the show earlier saying that he was going
to report the ref to the FA / Football League / whoever for corruption.

Sitting in D stand, the most blatant aspect for me was when Charlie was
taken out by an elbow and then the ref tapped the Shef Utd player in the
stomach, smiled and gave a drop ball. In 20 years of watching football that
was the most biased referring performance I have witnessed.

I listened to some of Ian Hart's phone-in and the comments by the arrogant
#osser of a referee and Carl Asaba . Their explanations regarding the
penalties were so similar that they sounded as if they had agreed beforehand
on what to say.

I was somewhat disappointed that Steve Coppell wasn't critical of the decisions, but then I guess, in his position, he can't afford to do so or he would be in hot water.

I think Ivor Caplin was dead right in his comments and I hope he will complain to the FA and the FL as he said he would, but I guess, as we're not Manure, nothng will be done!

As if I wasn't angry enough, I was still further incensed by the the police
wielding batons at the end. It was sickening to see what happened in
Bratislava, without witnessing what went on today, which was a disgrace.

I understand from a friend that it was reported by the media as a "riot". Utter
nonsense! The police intervention was more inclined to incite a riot than to
quell one, but there never was one in the first place.

Some angry people, yes, but not a riot! I am not anti police - they do some excellent work - but their reaction today was, in my opinion totally OTT.

With regard to the match, I thought Barrett was exceptional and oozed class
today. If only we could sign him. I thought everybody raised their game in
the first half and it was wonderful feeling happy at half time for once, but
we didn't bargain for playing against 14 men in the second half! Grrrrrrr!
When you're struggling, nothing seems to go right.

Believe it or not, I bumped into Bobby Zamora tonight. Needless to say, the
players thought the same about that twat as we all did. I told him to knock
in one against Palace next week - maybe that's when we'll finally win again.
Our luck's got to change eventually.

Just took a look at www.ratetheref.co.uk and it's no suprise to see that
Prosser the Tosser is bottom of their national referee's list of the ref's
who've been rated on more than one game.

I just hope we never have the misfortune to come across this biased buffoon
again.

The refereeing was a joke, but no more than our defending for their first
two goals. The first one they had a free kick (another crap decision) in our
half on the centre circle.

We ran back into the box expecting a direct ball into the box. It was passed short the bloke ran forward and knocked it into the far corner.

Second one - they simply ran at us. Until we can deal with a team attacking with pace down the centre we are, I'm afraid, stuffed.

First half was superb, and I think everyone was thinking if we can keep
Barret and Zamora together we will be okay. They were fantastic, close
enough together, and played with an understanding.

They crowned an outstanding team performance. And with luck going our way - there were a couple of incidents that in previous games would have resulted in goals against us - it looked like the corner had been turned.

But second half ......

Anyway we just need to make sure we get a couple of good results against
Palace. We met Mark and Sue on the bus back and she reckoned it was all set
up to break the run against Palace. Well it must end sometime so why not
next week ? SC will earn his money this week.

Then steps up Mr Prosser with a dose of PMT (Prosser Manufactured Travesty).
As I saw it the first penalty was a farce. MK played the ball first so how
can it be a foul?

The second penalty was beyond belief. Adam Virgo gently touched the attacker who fell like a sack of coal from a Yorkshire coalman's lorry and PMT did his stuff again.

Incredible! If that was a penalty it was also a penalty when Bobby was tackled in their box in the first half (which it wasn't in my opinion).
