TackleAfrica is a UK registered charity that aims to use the popularity of football in Africa as a tool to raise awareness and understanding of HIV/AIDS in local communities across the continent.

Can you Tackle Africa?

Last year, TackleAfrica volunteers visited 12 countries, played 350 matches, and reached 50,000 young people in Africa with their one GOAL:

to convey vital messages about HIV and AIDS to the people that are at greatest risk of the disease.

TackleAfrica
are currently recruiting volunteers to take part in their 6-week tour to Uganda, which is planned for May this year.

You would spend 6 weeks travelling and experiencing Uganda, between April 27th & June 10th. You'll be playing local teams in local stadia on sandy pitches, whilst also taking part in AIDS education campaigns aimed at the youth of Uganda.

TackleAfrica ask that you fundraise the cost of your participation (£2500), so that all money raised goes directly to the cause in Africa.

for info email TackleAfrica - You have just over a week to make a difference. The Deadline for this event is Jan 28th.
