Ravens View of Rotherham

Last updated : 11 February 2007 By Mark R

Saturday was rubbish, both sides very very poor. Robinson had a one on one with the keeper but failed to get it over or past him.

Cox had a good headed chance but put it wide. Hammond and Ward both had one long range effort each (on target at least!) and I think that was it.

Rotherham had 2 chances, one when Kuipers slipped over but he recovered to make a fantastic save, then they hit the bar in the last minute.

Savage and Ward looked OK to me in the first half, but both faded badly in the second half. Bertin looked good when he came on.

Not a lot else to say really other than I am now looking worriedly at the league table and I expect the Board of the club are looking at all the empty green seats!

Kuipers - 5 not a lot to do, created the chance for the save he had to make

O'Cearuill - 4 distribution was very poor

Butters - 6 Solid

Lynch - 6 solid

Mayo - 6 sold, pushed forward well at times

Hammond - 6 was my MOTM, not great but worked hard

Ward - 6 good first half, struggled 2nd

EL-Abd - 4 distribution was poor

Cox - 4 as above

Robinson - 4 very poor, no confidence when running at goal

Savage - 5 held the ball up at times but faded badly

Bertin (for El-Abd with about 15 left) - 6 looked well up for it

Sullivan, Frutos, Bakayogo and Gatting not used
