The line-up also shows he appears to be taking the competition seriously unlike Franchise FC who finished the game with just 4 players who had played on Saturday.

I know Scunthorpe and another team have been fined for fielding weakened teams, I expect they will be as well

A much much better crowd of 2,774 (was it the biggest crowd of the round?) including about 100 Franchise fans was 1,034 better than the last round, so the club must have been pleased with that.

The match, well, once again 4 well worked goals, the first was a great training ground free kick, Cox starting and finishing it off with a cracking finish.

Revell then headed in a Robinson cross (or was it a shot). Into the second half and Revell cracked one in from about 30 yards, then they pulled one back with a free header, but Hammond restored the 3 goal lead with a cool easy finish just before the whistle.

I thought Adam El-Abd was superb in midfield, once again putting himself about and constantly hassling the opposition - great stuff.

They did cause our defence one or two problems, Hinshelwood was caught out by several balls chipped over him, but Butters sat deep behind him and made some vital clearances.

Bowditch almost set up a goal with his first contribution after replacing the improving Fraser.

Lynch did the same, but he hit the side netting with his first touch.

Gatting also took a pot shot when he came on, but the ball curled wide. We could have scored 7 or 8 last night, so its a real encouragement that we have created so many chances in the last 2 games and scored 7 goals.

So another night of confidence building, Wilkins appears to be taking the team in the right direction, but still early days and a big burden for the young players to shoulder.

Another home draw in the next round please! (it's on Soccer AM on Saturday)
