Poyet wants three more

Brighton manager Gus Poyet is looking to bring in at least three more players to the club to complete his squad for the upcoming season. The Seagulls have restructured their playing staff over the summer with recent signing Ashley Barnes joining Marcos Painter, Matt Sparrow, Michael Poke, Agustin Battipiedi and Cristian Baz in moving to the Withdean, while 11 players have exited the club. Despite his already radical squad reshaping, Poyet is still targeting several more additions. He told the Argus: "With the players we have now, we still need another three or four. More than that will depend on if somebody moves on. There are plenty of rumours, plenty of people talking about players. If it is still this group of players, then we need just three. "We have plenty of options. It hasn't been easy because the market has been quite slow. Most of the teams are pushing for the same players, which makes it complicated but we will get there. "As soon as we can get the players the better because there are things we are really working on. It is the dream of any manager to start the first day of pre-season with the whole squad."
