Play World Cup Beat the Manager

Codemasters are celebrating this summer's Football World Cup with the release of their brand new version of the legendary football game Sensible Soccer - entitled 'Sensible Soccer 2006' - which will be released to coincide with the start of the greatest tournament on Earth on 9th June.

And they have kindly teamed up with us here at Footymad to offer you the chance to play the World Cup edition of Beat The Manager and win one of ten copies of this fantastic update to a legendary game on either PS2, Xbox or PC DVD platform.

The overall winner of the Beat The Manager competition will also receive a Playstation 2 console to play what is sure to be the hottest football game of the year on.

It is fifteen years since the original Sensible Soccer hit the shelves, for the Commodore Amiga. It's impact was incredible, and it quickly became revered as the best ever arcade style football game - and to many it justifiably continues to hold that title. Codemasters are sure their modern take on such a classic will appeal both to fans of the series and to a whole new generation of gamers.

'Beat the Manager' is a simple, FREE, real life prediction game that takes seconds to play and if you guess correctly gives you something to be smug about and brag to your friends.

To play all you have to do is login at various stages during the World Cup and make a prediction for each of the 64 games in the tournament. The closer your predictions are to the actual result, the more points you score.

The top two scorers from each of the first three weeks will win a copy of Sensible Soccer 2006 on their choice of platform. The overall tournament winner will receive a copy of the game along with a fantastic PS2 console to play it on, with the three runners-up grabbing a copy of the game.
