Gary Hart stands by to play on the right side of midfield should he not be fit.

There will be at least one change from Boxing Day's starting line-up, Charlie Oatway suffered a broken ankle early in that game and will be out for around 12 weeks. Richard Carpenter will probably replace him as he did for mondays win against QPR.

Carpenter himself is just coming back from injury so he may well be taken off during the game to allow Paul Reid to be tested at his favoured position of Central midfield.

It has been confirmed that Dean Hammond, Paul Reid and Colin Kazim-Richards will all miss mondays game at Southampton after they all picked up their 5th booking of the season during that win on monday.

Up front Mark McCammon continues to push for a starting place due to his ability to hold up the ball, though Mark McGhee may opt for speed on what may well be a slippery surface at Kenilworth Road.
