Brighton midfielder Alan Navarro is battling to be fit with a foot injury.
Defender Adam El-Abd (metatarsal) is near full recovery, but centre-half Colin Hawkins (Achilles) faces three months on the sidelines.
Brighton boss Gus Poyet told BBC Sussex:
"It's a very important game. We need to go there and keep maintaining our away form which has been excellent.
"They are organised, they play their own game, they trust the way they play and they believe that sooner or later they'll have a chance to win a game playing their way. We need to make sure that we stop that."
