Division One Fixtures released

Our long awaited trip to Selhurst Park for the fixture against Palace is on Saturday October 26th with the trip to Fratton Park coming early in the season on Saturday 31st August.

This is our First campaign in the second tier of English Football since being relegated from the old Division 2 in 1992. We were actually relegated to from Division 2 to Division 2 because of the formation of the Premiership. our last win in the Division was at home to Pompey in front of 11,647 at the Goldstone.

We open with an away fixture at Burnley on 10th August, followed on Tues 13th by Coventry at home, with Norwich visiting Withdean the next Saturday.


The Saturday after could be very interesting for the fans with a scheduled match away to Wimbledon. Fans of most Division One Clubs have vowed not to go to Away Matches against Wimbledon in protest at Wimbledon being allowed to move to Milton Keynes.

Wimbledon Fans are planning to start a new local Club (AFC Wimbledon) and have applied for entry into the Ryman League. Fans are being asked to instead attend the Fixture of AFC Wimbledon on August 24th. Brighton Fans are expected to support AFC Wimbledons campaign in large numbers.
