Davies, who will be at Huish Park for the rest of the season, said: "I enjoyed some great times here before and hopefully I can get back to that sort of form again.
"Obviously I can play on the wing or upfront, or as an attacking midfielder in a 4-3-3 formation but I will be happy to play wherever the boss (Terry Skiverton) chooses."
