Danny Wilson appointed?

Danny Wilson, former Albion Midfielder & current Bristol City Manager, is reportedly the Next Manager of Brighton & Hove Albion.

On Monday of this week, the Bristol City board announced that they had rejected an approach by the Albion to talk to Danny, and that he was not interested in the job.

Reports suggest that a press release originally planned for this afternoon has been rescheduled as a Press Conference for Tuesday, presumably to finalise compensation to Bristol City, and hopefully get Danny's signature on a contract.

Danny Wilson played 155 games for the Seagulls between 1983 & 1987, scoring 39 goals. Danny left the Albion in July 1987 after our relegation to Div3, moving to Luton for £100,000.

After 3 seasons at Luton, which included winning a League Cup medal he moved on to Sheffield Wednesday, where he was in the team which won promotion to the Old Division One. During his time with the owls he gained runners-up medals in both the League Cup & FA Cup.
