Crofts expects Gillingham welcome

He told BBC Sussex: "When the fixtures came out it was one of the games I was really looking forward to. It's nice to go back to your former club."

"They've got a good home record, we've got a good away record." he said.

"Our away form is really good, we'll be going there to try and get three points. If Gillingham take the lead they normally go on and win the game."

Crofts was a former Gillingham captain but lost the skipper's armband when Mark Stimson gave the captaincy to Barry Fuller, who will lead Gillingham out today. But Crofts says his motivation will be no different.

"I give the same every game I play, I won't do anything differently." he said.
