Carpenter out for 6 weeks

Carpenter had to go off early in the game to receive attention to a cut eye, and then continued the game with a bandage on his head before the foot injury forced him out. View the picture gallery here.

Dean Hammond move inside to the centre of midfield with Charlie Oatway, with former Metz winger Alexandre Frutos coming on in the left wing berth.

The foot injury is expected to keep Carpenter out of the side for 6 weeks.

The Albions next game is Live on Sky, this coming monday, away at Sheffield Wednesday with an 8pm kick-off.

Frutos with 7 sub appearances, no starts and 1 goal is expected to start in the left wing position on Monday.
