Brighton v Tranmere

Tranmere welcome Chelsea defender Ben Gordon, who has joined on loan for a month, and Leeds winger Andy Robinson, who signs until the end of the season.

Young midfielder Joss Labadie could also make his debut following his loan move from West Brom.

Brighton boss Gus Poyet told BBC Sussex:

"The idea is to get as soon as possible to the points that everybody thinks to get safe - probably 50. We need to win two or three games as soon as possible. Now we've got a great opportunity.

"The key here is to keep going and believe in our strengths and what we are doing. It's going to be tough, like every game in League One. They're a very strong team. In the last few games they defended very well."

Tranmere manager Les Parry told BBC Radio Merseyside:

"We had a good draw at Bristol and a poor draw at home to Hartlepool, and the fans weren't particularly happy with the Hartlepool game.

"There's a lot of pressure on the lads at the moment and sometimes it's harder to play at home when there is that bit of pressure.

"So hopefully this away game we can bring something back with us."
