Carlisle defender David Raven could make his first appearance in six months as he recovers from a hip injury.

Kevan Hurst (Knee), Joe Anyinsah (double hernia) and Andy Cook (foot) are all out.

Brighton manager Gus Poyet told BBC Sussex:

"I think it's a great opportunity to keep winning at home. It took us two or three months to win a game.

"Now we've won three it's important to keep winning at home. I want to go over the 50-point mark as soon as possible, then I think we can start talking about contracts with the players.

"I don't think it's about the opposition anymore. There's 11 players in front of us. It doesn't matter which team - we need to perform and win the game."
