BHA 1 Cardiff 0 - Best Result this Season

I thought every player got involved, Webb holds the ball up well and defenders certainly know he is on the pitch. Zamora was pure class. Kuipers, brilliant, Virgo and Cullip formed a great partnership with Cullip back to his best and helping, encouraging Virgo throughout. Carpenter was well up for this and Rogers also played well.

Hinshlewood and Brooker were on there feet for 90 minutes and shouted, encouraged the players.

The rain was very heavy and it created a great atmosphere with the majority of the South Stand singing for once. Cardiff were allocated 756 tickets and the potential Premiership title holders managed about 300 supporters if that. (Over 2,400 watched the game on the big screen at Ninian).

The highlight of the game for me was the way Mayo and Cullip handled Fortune-West. All three Cardiff forwards were physical and Mayo moved to almost centre back for long periods to pressurise F-W. It worked, they showed him up to be the donkey he is and he lost his rag and flattened Cullip (who has the scars to prove the use of F-W elbows)

Bring on Tranmere!
